Celtic Woman is on tour and hits the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, PA, showing for one date only on 17 May 2014! Celtic Woman is a musical group comprising six talented and beautiful Irish lasses... sorry, we mean women... with a vocal repertoire that ranges from traditional Celtic tunes to modern songs. The highly successful group's current members include the four vocalists Mairead Carlin, Lisa Kelly, Susan McFadden and the violinist Mairead Nesbitt. Their huge success in Asia and in America has been credited to the already successful megastar Enya and has even been called "Riverdance for the Voice".

Blithe Spirit playfully mocks the traditions of love and marriage while thumbing its nose at the Grim Reaper. Did you know: the last professional performance of Blithe Spirit in Pittsburgh was in 1971, and featured Helen Wayne Rauh, who also played Madame Arcati in the 1945 production! Candida was a smash when it premiered in 1903 and is still a triumph of sophistication. In this sparkling comedy, Candida is in the middle of a romantic tug of war between husband John Morell, the practical parson, and Eugene Marchbanks, the passionate poet. They are surrounded by her uproarious provincial father and Morell's eccentric staff, but it is love and marriage that are the targets of Shaw's celebrated wit. Gretchen Egolf, the radiant Rosalind of As You Like It will return to The Public to dazzle audiences in the role of Candida.
