The Pittsburgh-based cast and crew of Dani Girl will host several fundraising events across the Pittsburgh area to support their production of the acclaimed musical at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival - the world's largest annual arts festival.

March 19 at 10:30 p.m.
Musical Theater Mad Libs! In Concert
Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret at Theater Square
Three teams of local musical theater performers, including the Dani Girl cast, will face off in a battle of musical theater improv. The audience will have the chance to fill in the blanks of some of the most famous musical theater songs. Dani Girl's talented cast will perform the newly written lyrics on the spot.

April 17 at 7 p.m.
24-Hour Play Fest
The Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall in Carnegie
Dani Girl's cast will have 24 hours to write, cast, rehearse and perform a new one-act hat will be performed as part of the festival. After the performances, the audience will vote on awards including best actor/actress and best play.

Dani Girl is an original musical conceived by Carnegie Mellon University graduates Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (book & lyrics).

Stephen Santa, a veteran of the Western Pennsylvania theatrical scene as an actor and director, is producing and directing Dani Girl for the Fringe Festival, while Debbie Boughner will serve as musical director with Mia Baum Rosenfeld as stage manager and Drew Praskovich as assistant director/marketing. The Dani Girl cast includes Pittsburgh musical theater mainstays Natalie Hatcher (Dani), Rob James (Raph), Cynthia Dougherty (Mother) and Conner Gillooly (Marty).

Dani Girl is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a nonprofit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Dani Girl must be made payable to Fractured Atlas only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
