SMTC Adds Performance of WEST SIDE STORY Due to Ticket Demand

Due to ticket demand, Scottsdale Musical Theater Company has added a Sunday evening performance of their upcoming production of West Side Story, at Tempe Center for the Arts (700 W. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe AZ), playing August 17 - 20, 2017.

The performance schedule is: Thursday, August 17 @ 7:30PM, Friday, August 18 @ 7:30PM Saturday, August 19 @ 2:00PM & 7:30pm Sunday, August 20 @ 2:00PM & added performance @ 7:30pm.


West Side Story is one of the world's most beloved Broadway musicals. With its rich score by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim and classic book by Arthur Laurents, audiences will experience immortal hits like "Tonight", "Maria", "Somewhere", "America" and "Something's Coming" through SMTC's 25+ piece live orchestra and some of the Valley's best talent. The show is directed by David Hock with choreography by Bill Hotaling and musical direction by Curtis Moeller. The orchestra will be conducted by Kevin Hayward.
