About the show

This knockabout farce, by the author of THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH, WILL SUCCESS SPOIL ROCK HUNTER, and the screenplays, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Manchurian Candidate and Bus Stop, was one of the first sex reversal stories ever produced.

Lauren Bacall on Broadway and Debbie Reynolds on screen assayed the title role. Joanne Robertson plays the role for PFAA, opposite Sean Jeralds. The two veteran and popular actors most recently had audiences leaping to their feet in Lonesome Valley Playhouse's hilarious production of FIRST NIGHT. Charlie, a womanizing cad of the first order, finally meets his fate while "entertaining" the wife of one of his best friends as a guest on the couple's yacht. Through an act of providence (asking the question, "Does God have a sense of humor?"), Charlie "returns"as a beautiful woman (cigar in hand), meeting his old drinking buddy (Jeralds) and getting a rare, and hilarious second chance to discover the true meanings of Life and Love, answering the earlier question, "Yes He does."

PFAA is located at 208 N.Marina St. in Prescott at the corner of N. Marina and Willis Streets.
