We've got magic to do - just for you! Join Greasepaint Youtheatre on a magical quest as they present PIPPIN, October 21-30, 2016. This Tony award winning musical with music by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger Hirson is directed by Beth Reynolds with music direction on Curtis Moeller and choreography by April Rosier

Pippin, the princely son of the fabled Emperor Charlemagne, is on a search for fulfillment, believing that the secret to an extraordinary life is hidden somewhere - just beyond - in a "Corner of the Sky". Along the way, he encounters a mysterious Lead Player and his acting troupe of followers who take Pippin on a fantastic adventure of love, loss and redemption.

The premise of PIPPIN allows plenty of room for reimagining. The original 1972 Broadway show was set as a dark, sensual morality play while the 2013 revival was built within a circus atmosphere. Director Beth Reynolds concept of the show will set the plot conflicts of this hero's journey against a backdrop reminiscent of the "Game of Thrones" TV series.

The show runs October 21-30, 2016 at the historic Stagebrush Theatre, 7020 East 2nd St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
