Don Bluth Front Row Theatre presents their latest play Charley's Aunt, the hilarious British farce about love and cross-dressing!

When Jack Chesney and Charley Wykeham fall in love with Kitty and Amy they intend on declaring their love and proposing marriage but need Charley's wealthy aunt, Donna Lucia, to chaperone and give approval. When Donna Lucia is unable to make the date as planned, Jack and Charley recruit their Oxford pal Lord Fancourt Babberley to dress up as Donna Lucia and accompany the girls. Problems continue to arise when Jack's father, Sir Francis Chesney, and Amy's uncle, Stephan Spettigue, both decide they want to marry Donna Lucia, who is really Babberly. However when the real Donna Lucia shows up unexpectedly the mayhem turns into madness! Will the boys be able to win the hearts and hands of their true loves?

Charley's Aunt is directed by Cheryl Schaar, who not only is a first-time director at the Don Bluth Front Row Theatre, she is also the first female director for the theatre. The show stars valley actors Randy Rice, Van Rockwell, Jori Mosier, Peter Cunniff, and Jaimie Sofia as the mysterious and beautiful Donna Lucia.

Charley's Aunt was originally performed in February of 1892 at the Theatre Royal in England. Written by Brandon Thomas, the play broke all historical records with an original run in London of 1,466 performances. Over the past 100 years it has consistently been performed throughout the world and been reproduced in many languages as it's themes of love, mistaken identity, and of course men dressing up as women are comedic gold for audiences of all cultures and backgrounds.
