This thrilling new American play, which is one of the longest-running plays in Broadway history (648 performances and 19 previews), has been hailed by The New York Times as "hugely entertaining! A ripsnorter full of blistering, funny dialogue, acid-etched characterizations and scenes of no-holds-barred emotional combat." When their patriarch vanishes, the large extended family of the Westons must return to their three-story home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to get to the heart of the matter. With rich insight and brilliant black comedy, Letts paints a vivid portrait of a Midwestern family at a turning point that is "not-to-be-missed," said Chicago Tribune.

Nominated for seven Tony Awards and winning five, including Best Play and Best Director, along with Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and New York Drama Critics Circle Awards, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY opened at the Imperial Theatre Broadway on December 4, 2007, to wide critical acclaim.

Rep's production, directed by Chris Millado--his directing debut at Rep-- features a stellar cast: Baby Barredo (Violet Weston), Pinky Amador (Barbara Fordham), Tami Monsod (Ivy Weston), Liesl Batucan (Karen Weston), Leo Rialp (Beverly Weston), Kenneth Moraleda (Bill Fordham), Sheila Francisco (Mattie Fae Aiken), Thea Gloria (Jean Fordham), Richard Cunanan (Charlie Aiken), Hans Eckstein (Steve Heidebrecht), Noel Rayos (Charles Aiken Jr.), Angeli Bayani and Naths Everett (Johnna Monevata), and Arnel Carrion (Sheriff Deon Gilbeau).
