Stars of Media Theatre's GHOST Return for Electric Cabaret Tonight
(5/30/2015) - Tonight, May 30 at 4pm the stars of The Media Theatre's recent 'Ghost: The Musical', Anna Giordano and Zack Krajnyak, will be featured in the 'Electric Cabaret'. Born out of a young teen's vision to give back to the theatre he loves so dearly, the 'Electric Cabaret' is happening at his own home.
Andrea McArdle, Billie Holiday & More to Be Inducted Into Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame
(5/28/2015) - The Philadelphia Music Alliance (PMA) today announced that The Roots, Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel, Cinderella, The Trammps, Andrea McArdle, and WOGL air personality Harvey Holiday will be added to the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame as members of its Class of 2015. The new honorees - along with previously announced Billie Holiday - have 16 Grammy Awards and a Tony Award nomination among them. They will be formally inducted together October 26, 2015 during afternoon ceremonies along the Avenue of the Arts and celebrated that evening with a special grand gala event. The PMA will be working in conjunction with Avenue of the Arts, Inc., to make all of its fall events extra special.
Lantern Theater's THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES Runs Now thru 6/28

1812 Productions' Annual Gala Fundraiser 'Eventa du Schmancy' Set for 6/8

Kimmel Center to Present World Premiere of HELLO! SADNESS!
(5/27/2015) - The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts announces the world premiere of Hello! Sadness!, a one-woman comedy debuting in SEI Innovation Studio on Thursday, June 11, Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13 at 8p.m. Written and performed by Philadelphia theater artist Mary Tuomanen, with direction by Annie Wilson, this solo performance is the fruition of Tuomanen's participation in the 2014 Kimmel Center Theater Residency with celebrated poet and performance artist Dael Orlandersmith.
