(6/30/2015) - The real-life acting couple Keir Dullea (2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY) and Mia Dillon (CRIMES OF THE HEART, Broadway original cast) will be joined by actors Todd Cerveris, Cameron Clifford, Don Noble and Christa Scott-Reed in the BUCKS COUNTY PLAYHOUSE production of Ernest Thompson's comedy ON GOLDEN POND, running July 10 to August 2, at the Playhouse, located at 70 S. (7/1/2015) - Under the leadership of Director of Joe's Pub Shanta Thake and the Kimmel Center Artistic Director Jay Wahl, the two-week Theater Residency will guide five world-class theater artists through the creative process of five new compositions. The Kimmel Center will serve as a creative incubator space supporting these artists as a producer of new works. A public performance of their works-in-progress is scheduled to take place today and tomorrow, July 1-2.

(6/30/2015) - The real-life acting couple Keir Dullea (2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY) and Mia Dillon (CRIMES OF THE HEART, Broadway original cast) will be joined by actors Todd Cerveris, Cameron Clifford, Don Noble and Christa Scott-Reed in the BUCKS COUNTY PLAYHOUSE production of Ernest Thompson's comedy ON GOLDEN POND, running July 10 to August 2, at the Playhouse, located at 70 S. Main Street in New Hope, Pa. Dullea and Dillon portray the long-time married couple Norman and Ethel Thayer as they spend the summer on their lakeside cottage in Maine. Mr. Dullea and Miss Dillon have themselves been married for 16 years.

(6/29/2015) - The Kimmel Center announces four new shows added to the stellar line-up of pop and jazz performances, as part of the 2015-16 season. Tickets are now available for performances ranging from rising star jazz chanteuse Cecile McLorin Salvant performing an intimate solo jazz recital (Oct. 17), 10 time Grammy Award-winning Latin jazz duo Arturo Sandoval & Poncho Sanchez making their debut (Nov. 8), the return of international touring sensation Canadian Brass with Jeffrey Brillhart (Oct. 17), and the Philadelphia premiere of Potted Potter -- the Unauthorized Harry Experience (Oct. 20-25) performing a stage adaptation of family-friendly wizardry.

(6/24/2015) - Shakespeare in Clark Park celebrates its 10th Anniversary with The Winter's Tale, Shakespeare's tragicomedy of family and forgiveness. Director Kittson O'Neill (InterAct Theatre Company, Hedgerow Theatre) helms the company of professional actors along with a chorus of over 30 Philadelphia-area children. The Winter's Tale opens under the stars in "the Bowl" of Clark Park on July 29 and runs through August 2. All performances are at 7 p.m.
