Tribe of Fools is bringing back their incredibly popular Holiday Burlesque. Tribe's holiday tradition provides a holiday themed show for adults. Artistic Director Terry Brennan came up with the idea because "the majority of the holiday season is so geared towards kids that sometimes adults feel overwhelmed and left out. We wanted to provide one night of holiday fun that's just for adults." Brennan also remarked, "We want to make this for all adults so there are just as many male routines as female. Tribe of Fools sees burlesque as a fun and exciting art form that doesn't need to be about straight men just staring at women all night."

The evening will be hosted by Nasty Frosty, played by burlesque veteran and Flashpoint Co-Founder, MeghAnn Williams. Nasty Frosty will act as the emcee over a roster of Tribe of Fools favorites including Dirty Santa, Sexual Anxiety Rudolph, as well as Ivan and Irina Jackinoff, PPA Patrolman Parker Peters, Janice Rowland, Lesley Berkowitz, Gigi Naglak. The Tribe of Fools Holiday Burlesque will be a combination of songs, dance, comedy and of course, a little bit of skin. The focus of the evening will be a comic take on the holidays and relationships in a way that you can enjoy with your friends, but not with your kids.

Finally, this year's burlesque will be directed by Tribe of Fools' newest company member, Tara Demmy. This will be the second year the burlesque is directed by someone other than artistic director Terry Brennan. Brennan stated "Tribe of Fools is growing and I'm excited that we're developing a deep bench of collaborators and company members. Tara is an incredibly gifted comedic performer and the perfect choice to direct this year's burlesque."

All proceeds will go to fund Tribe of Fools' 2017 productions including School Play a one-person show about a hyperactive child who yearns to be good at school.
