Trailblazing modern dance troupe PHILADANCO returns to their home in Philadelphia with a new program entitled Risky Business on December 12-14 (times vary) in Perelman Theater. Risky Business features the world premiere of choreographer Christopher Huggins' "Latched," while revisiting and elevating the works of beloved choreographers who have contributed choreographic elements of risk to an ever-evolving dance landscape. Additional program highlights include Ray Mercer's "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," Eliza Monte's "White Dragon," and Daniel Ezralow's "Pulse."

Risky Business leads up to their 45th anniversary concert, which celebrates the contributions of female choreographers in a program entitled Having Our Say, scheduled to take place April 17-19.

Philadanco was recently invited to perform as special guest with choreographer Christopher Huggins in Chile. The dance group performed a fusion of classical ballet to contemporary dance in a program ranging from Beethoven to Bruno Mars, which celebrated the Teatro del Lago de Frutillar's fourth gala. Their performance also featured 30 students of the Chilean institutions ¡PUEDES BAILAR! (You Can Dance!) and the Ballet Royal Academy of Dance Escuela de las Artes Teatro del Lago.
