The Kimmel Center rings in the New Year with a free indoor 2013 New Year's Day Celebration today, January 1, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parade-enthusiasts can warm up indoors while enjoying Philadelphia's historical Mummers Parade on Broad Street. On the Kimmel Center Commonwealth Plaza Stage the New Year's Day activities and entertainment continue with a series of family-friendly performances and activities.

Kimmel Center's 2013 FREE New Year's Day festivities include:

All Day: Resolution Wall: post this year's resolutions for all to see
10:30am - 3:30pm: Balloon Artist and Face Painter
10:30am - 3:30pm: Greater Philadelphia Paper Pholders
11:00am - 12:30pm: I Love a Parade (PNC Grow Up Great Concert)
12:30pm - 1:30pm: The Deedle Deedle Dees
2:00pm - 3:00pm: Broadway Dreams Foundation: Celebrating Broadway!
3:00pm - 3:30pm: Tunes from LES MISERABLES
4pm - 5pm: Philadelphia Ukelele Orchestra
