A lot has happened for The J?st Project since their CD has been released. Playing classic rock in a jazz format, their goal is to reach new generations for jazz. Included in their performance will be such songs as "Walk This Way" (Aerosmith); "Kashmir" (Led Zeppelin); "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" (Iron Butterfly), "What a Day For a Day Dream" (John Sebastian; Loving Spoonful) and many more. Crowds have been cheering at their unexpected interpretations of the music. In addition to playing in the Philadelphia and Atlantic City areas, they performed at The Iridium in New York and have been invited back. They are honored that two selections from their recording are included in a new BFM Jazz Digital CD called "Experience This: Reinterpreted Rock Classics" and that their music has consistently charted in Jazz Week and been picked up by college and jazz radio stations.

The band has been getting raves on both sides of the Atlantic. Jazz in Europe's critic Johan van Deeg wrote ..."The Jost Project is without a doubt one of the most creative bands I have heard for years and vocalist Paul Jost one of the best male jazz vocalists that I have heard since Mark Murphy." Music critic Buster Maxwell wrote, "Hearing these classic pop and rock tunes filtered through the brilliant, freewheeling jazz musicality of The Jost Project will give you an uplifting feeling about your own musical history. Vic Schermer, All About Jazz, wrote about Tony ... "He is a vibraphonist of astonishing virtuosity, musical resilience and inventiveness. Above and beyond his mastery of the instrument itself, Tony is a creative force in the musical community." In Europe's All About Jazz's Jakob Baekgaard said ... "Jost is truly an exceptional singer, instrumentalist and arranger ... He masters every thinkable nuance of the singer's palette, from lightning-fast scatting to smoky, blues phrasings and elegant crooning."Michael Barbiero record producer/engineer for The Allman Brothers, Joe Cocker, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Whitney Houston and many more has become a huge fan and said ... "You nailed it totally. This has me positively speechless."
