Trenton playwright Mark Violi's World War II drama Riding the Comet will enjoy its world premiere production at Actors' Net. A powerful drama about a French farmer and his two daughters helping a pair of American G.I.s elude the Nazis, Riding the Comet fictionalizes one of many real life events. "The comet line" was an actual secret escape route set up by the French Resistance to aid the allies. Violi's play offers vivid characters, and an unforgettable and violent surprise ending. Directed by Kyla Mostello Donnelly. The ensemble cast includes (alphabetically) Patrick Albanesius of Bridgewater, NJ; Brian Jason Kelly of Doylestown; John Helmke of Hamilton, NJ; Ed Patton of Fairless Hills; William H. Schnakenberg IV of Levittown; Kathryn A. Skelly of Hamilton, NJ; and introducing Anna Chandless of Morrisville as "Andie." Stage managed by Matthew Cassidy of Morrisville. TIMES: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

PLACE: The Heritage Center, 635 North Delmorr Avenue (Route 32), Morrisville, PA - near the Calhoun Street Bridge.

ADMISSION: $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and $10 for children age 12 and under. Special rates for veterans: $15 for active duty servicemen and women and veterans under the age of 62. $10 for senior veterans, age 62 and older.
