Quintessence Theatre Group concludes its fifth season of progressive classic theatre with Alexandre Dumas' THE THREE MUSKETEERS. Celebrating its fifth birthday, Quintessence has created a world premiere adaptation of Dumas' epic adventure directed by Quintessence Artistic Director, Alexander Burns.

Passionate poetry, soaring romance and swashbuckling sword fights, Quintessence's new theatrical adaptation of The Three Musketeers, ou Le Complot Des Diamants will unleash this epic literary adventure to honor the wit and dramatic genius of Alexandre Dumas.

With a new script by Quintessence ensemble members Mattie Hawkinson, Josh Carpenter, Sean Close and Artistic Director Alexander Burns, stage fights by American Fight Master Ian Rose, and costumes by Jane Casanave, Quintessence will bring to vivid life 17th century France, King Louis XIII, Queen Anne of Austria, Cardinal Richelieu, d'Artagnan and the Three Inseparables.

This thirteen actor ensemble is lead by Michael Brusasco* as Athos and Buckingham, Andrew Criss* as Treville and Bonacieux, Gregory Isaac as Porthos and Cardinal Richelieu and will feature Quintessence regulars Alan Brincks as Aramis (Orlando in As You Like It), Rachel Brodeur as Constance (Nina in The Seagull, Ophelia in Hamlet and Tuovi in The Diary of A Madman), Sean Close as King Louis XIII and Planchet (Rodrigo in Othello, Touchstone in As You Like It), Connor Hammond as d'Artagnan (Silvius in As You Like It, The Hostess in Henry V). We also welcome the return of Lee Cortopassi as le Comte de Warde, Julia Frey as Queen Anne and Milady De Winter, Anita Holland as Dumas and Ken Sandberg as Rochefort. The ensemble is completed by Parke Fech and Jeff Moorhead, making their Quintessence debuts.
