Photo Flash: Media Theatre Presents THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY: THE MUSICAL

Jason Robert Brown's Tony winning score enhances "The Bridges of Madison County: The Musical", which is on stage at The Media Theatre through October 23. The beautiful borough of Media, Pa., has the region's only professional music theatre at 104 East State Street.

"The Bridges of Madison County: The Musical" is having its Philadelphia regional professional premiere at The Media Theatre. While a national tour did come through Philly a few months ago, this is the first time an area theatre has produced the show from 'the ground up', creating a set unique to The Media Theatre production directed by Broadway World Award winner Jesse Cline.

In the show based on the classic novel, Francesca, an Italian housewife played by Elisa Matthews, meets Robert, a National Geographic photographer one afternoon and has a romantic affair with him while her family is away at the Iowa State Fair. Derek Basthemer makes his Media Theatre debut as Robert.
