Philadelphia News Anchor Ukee Washington to Guest Host THE TALK, 7/15

KYW-TV news anchor Ukee Washington will guest co-host on the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show, CBS's THE TALK, on Friday, July 15 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET/1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT), joining hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood at the table. This will be Washington's third appearance on THE TALK.

Throughout the week, news anchors from five CBS Owned Stations around the country will serve as guest co-hosts:

Monday, July 11: Kristine Johnson, WCBS-TV, New York

Tuesday, July 12: Elizabeth Cook, KPIX 5, San Francisco

Wednesday, July 13: Lisa Hughes, WBZ-TV, Boston

Thursday, July 14: Kaley O'Kelley, KTVT-TV, Dallas-Fort Worth

Friday, July 15: Ukee Washington, KYW-TV, Philadelphia

Additionally, through "The Talk Anchors Away" contest, Philadelphia winner Danielle Zimet, and a guest, will be flown to Los Angeles and receive hotel accommodations for ?three days/two nights, two VIP tickets to the show and a swag bag from THE TALK on the same day Washington guest co-hosts.

CBS's Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show THE TALK features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer along with John Redmann.
