The Kimmel Center rings in the New Year with a FREE indoor 2015 New Year's Day Celebration on Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Enjoy panoramic views of Philadelphia's historic Mummers Parade on Broad Street while warming up indoors to FREE family friendly activities and a series of concerts on the Kimmel Center's Plaza stage. On the Plaza level, PECO Bar will be serving soups, salads, sandwiches and chile (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) with pop up bar (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) serving all beef hot dogs, chips and soft pretzels.

Garces Events will be providing a complementary FREE Hot Chocolate Lounge on Tier 1 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) of the Kimmel Center, and a New Year's Day VIP Experience by Chef Jose Garces (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) featuring a Distrito Station, Slider Station, Snack Station and Dessert Station with all you can eat + open bar set-up. Resolution Wall
The Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall and Perelman Theater will be open for viewing. The Resolution Wall, sponsored by Garces Events, will return in 2015! Write your New Year's Day resolution on our public wall for the world to see and be inspired by others declarations!

Greater Philadelphia Paper Pholders

All ages can learn how to make their own origami paper craft with the help of The Greater Philadelphia Paper Pholders!

10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Kris Clayton

Marvel at stilt walker and juggler Kris Clayton in The Commonwealth Plaza as well as outside at South Broad Street doors.

10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Face Painter
Choose a color and be treated to a personal face painting session. Courtesy of Fabulous Faces Face Painting, the day features hypo-allergenic paint everyone can enjoy!

11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Balloon Artist

Bring the kids for balloon sculptures courtesy of Black Cat Balloon Company. Go home with a fun animal, a crazy character, or wearable balloon art.

1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Ran'D Shine

Following his ½ hour set on the Commonwealth Plaza Stage, he will provide strolling magic to our patrons, concentrating on lines of children and their parents waiting face painting and balloon animals. A native of Philadelphia, Ran'D was chosen as "a special performer for the "Salute to Heroes" at the 44th Presidential Inauguration Banquet and Ball in 2009."

Broadway Dreams Foundation: Celebrating Broadway!
Students from the Broadway Dreams Foundation Summer Performing Arts Intensive program return to the Kimmel Center to celebrate Broadway Classics. Watch tomorrow's stars perform numbers fromBroadway Philadelphia's upcoming shows, such as The Lion King, Kinky Boots, Motown, andAnnie!
