Michael Broussard, in Partnership with the National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse, presents Ask a Sex Abuse Survivor, an interactive play praised by health professionals, Nov. 9. Performances are at 5pm and 7pm at Adrienne Theatre (Playground), 2030 Sansom St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Called "a powerful and moving testimonial to the impact of childhood sexual abuse throughout a lifetime" by Megan Doyle of Survivors of Abuse in Recovery, the interactive show "Ask a Sex Abuse Survivor" has been praised as a healing tool by mental health professionals and survivors. Survivor Michael Broussard tells his story and invites the audience to chime in with questions, comments, and their own stories during several feedback breaks throughout the performance. Clinical Psychologist Elizabeth Dale Blair said "As a psychologist who treats survivors of childhood sexual abuse, I would highly recommend this show to anyone who struggles with the emotional aftermath of these traumas". Survivors and their friends and families are encouraged to attend, as well as those who would like to learn more about the issues surrounding childhood sexual abuse and its aftermath.

FOR MATURE AUDIENCES.

Broussard is also the producer, director and emcee of the Five Minute Follies, Philadelphia's only ongoing family friendly vintage variety show.
