October 24-November 16, 2014
Directed by the Founder of Mu Performing Arts Center
When Chinese artist Lin Bo appears at the renowned Mana Gallery, his harrowing story of improsonment in a Chinese detention center has the world standing at attention. His fame is short-lived, however, as an American publisher begins to question the authenticity of Lin Bo's story. Is he telling the trust or is he caught? Accusations fly as Chen's play cleverly exposes the thin line between truth and fiction where it is most often difficult to tell the difference between the con artist and the conned.

Winner of the Kennedy Center's Paula Vogel Award and an InterAct 2020 New Play Commission
A young South African soccer phenomenon flees to England escaping persecution. But when her activist lover, Pretty M'Bane, goes missing, Noxolo is forced to reassess her life and choices. Returning to South Africa during the World Cup, Noxolo's search brings her face to face with the demons of her past and her country's blind eye towards violence against women. Silverman's play is at once beautiful and haunting, exploring the mysterious reaches of love and the human spirit.

THE THREE CHRISTS OF MANHATTAN
by Seth Rozin, directed by Kittson O'Neill & Seth Rozin
May 29-June 21, 2015
A World Premiere by the writer of Two Jews Walked Into a War
There's only one Jesus Christ, right? At the grand opening of her private practice, an atheist Jewish psychiatrist is visited by three men, each believing himself to be the Savior. One by one the Jesi- the first in sandals, the second in dreadlocks, and the third in a power suit- proceed to make their case as the Messiah, while battling to save the Doctor's soul. Has the Son of God really returned? Or, are these men equally deluded? This absurdist comedy of ideas from InterAct Producing Artistic Director Seth Rozin explores our world's changing concept of Christ with satiric dexterity.
