Philadelphia's Inis Nua Theatre Company-a non-profit 501(c)3 theatre company dedicated to bringing Contemporary Theatre from Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales to local audiences-will hold its fourth annual Craicdown! tonight, November 30 at Upstairs at World Café Live (3025 Walnut Street) from 7:30-10:30pm.

This benefit features music, dance and film inspired by Inis Nua's favorite corner of the world. Musical highlights this year include actor/musician Alex Bechtel, singer/songwriter Teri Rambo, members of the West Philadelphia Orchestra and composer Rosie Langabeer, who will be performing original music from Inis Nua's April production The Hand of Gaul. In addition to live music, the Crossroads School of Irish Dance will perform, and the film will roll with a series of shorts entitled Drunk Shakespeare. Add raffles, giveaways and lots of laughter to complete the package; it's a fun way to support Inis Nua's work! Raffle tickets will be sold at the door. Cash bar.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Doors open at 7pm; show starts at 7:30. For advance tickets, phone (215) 454-9776 or visit inisnuatheatre.ticketleap.com/craicdown2012. All contributions are tax deductible.
