Act II Playhouse is hosting "Dublin Comes to Ambler," a one-night celebration of Irish culture with music, poetry, and food on Sunday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Headlining this event is Pan-Celtic Rock band Barleyjuice, who will provide the Irish music for the evening. In addition, local actors of note - including Tom McCarthy (The Philly Fan, On Golden Pond), Sarah Doherty (Ariel in Act II's recent smash production of The Tempest) and the cast of Act II's upcoming production of the The Pride of Parnell Street - will recite Celtic verse and stories.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Act II Playhouse will accept donations (suggested contribution is $10) to benefit The Pride of Parnell Street.

Part of the Philadelphia Irish Theatre Festival, The Pride of Parnell Street by Sebastian Barry runs at Act II Playhouse from March 22 - April 17. A story of love and redemption, set in 1990's Dublin, the play stars Kittson O'Neill and David Whalen as Janet and Joe Brady.
