Randy Weiner's newest genre-crossing, environmental experience, Queen of the Night, which began performances on December 31, 2013, has announced an extension from its original six week limited run at the legendary supper club, Diamond Horseshoe (235 W. 46th Street, NYC) with an official opening night on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Last fall, Dave Malloy's electropop opera NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 premiered at New York City's Ars Nova in a seven-week sold out run. This spring, the Comet will land again, in a big way, at Kazino - a brand new venue created specifically for the show. Audiences will be transported to a Russian supper club, complete with an authentic Russian menu and bar, by way of a temporary structure that will rise at the corner of West 13th Street and Washington Street - wedged between The High Line and The Standard Hotel in the heart of New York's meatpacking district.
