As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Sunday's BROADWAY BARES XX: 'STRIP-OPOLY' made history by raising $1,015,985 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This marks the first time in BROADWAY BARES history that the $1 million dollar mark was reached, a goal that had been set this January by BARES creator and executive producer, Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. On April 8, 1992, Jerry Mitchell and six of the hottest dancers on Broadway danced on the bar at SPLASH, NYC to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. They raised $8,000.

A new documentary, Broadway Bares Documentary : celebrating 20 years has released an online promo as they solicit funds for completion. The documentary is directed by Daniel Robinson and the Executive Producer is Jerry Mitchell.
