BroadwayWorld correspondant Audra Stafford caught up with COME FLY AWAY cast member (and San Diego native) Marceea Moreno for what it's like touring with the production.

The new Broadway musical and U.S. National Tour of COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, made its Los Angeles debut at the Pantages Theatre Tuesday, October 25 for a strictly-limited 2 week engagement thru November 6, 2011. Michael Sterling, co-producer and Los Angeles correspondent for Broadway World TV, along with Associate Producer Jerry Evans of the JLE Media Group, Inc. covered the evening's festivities. The star-studded guest list included many of the late Sinatra's celebrity friends and family members. After attending the performance, Sterling said 'In short, the show is an intoxicating marriage of pure harmony and wedded bliss.'

Direct from the original Broadway cast of COME FLY AWAY and the Las Vegas production of Sinatra Dance With Me are principal dancers Matthew Stockwell Dibble, Cody Green, Laurie Kanyok, Marielys Molina, John Selya and Ron Todorowski- also starring in the tour as principals are Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Martin Harvey, Ramona Kelley and Christopher Vo. North American tour of COME FLY AWAY will launch at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA, on August 2, 2011.

The national tour of Broadway's current smash-hit revival kicked off to rave reviews at The Fisher Theatre in Detroit on September 30 and is now touring the country. COME FLY AWAY will conclude its Broadway run on Sunday, September 5 at the Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway at 46th Street) after 26 previews and 187 regular performances. Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, COME FLY AWAY will launch a national tour in May, 2011 in Chicago. More details on this extensive, multi-city national tour will be announced at a later date.

The critically acclaimed new Broadway musical COME FLY AWAY was be featured on the FOX television program 'So You Think You Can Dance' yesterday, June 17th. Tony Award nominees Karine Plantadit and Keith Roberts (nominated for Movin' Out) performed the show stopping number 'That's Life' during the program's first live results show of the season, which aired nationally at 9pm (8pm central).

West Side Story opened at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) on Thursday, March 19, 2009. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is restaged by Tony Award nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

West Side Story has returned to Broadway in a new production directed by its two-time Tony Award winning librettist Arthur Laurents. Laurents discussed the musical with Mo Rocca for CBS News. He reveals the evolution of the classic musical as it made its journey back to Broadway.
