TV: Rebecca Luker, Daisy Eagan & More on Returning to THE SECRET GARDEN for Make-A-Wish Foundation Benefit

Friends in Theater Company and State of Play Productions' THE SECRET GARDEN, a Broadway benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, presented the first of two sold-out performances last night, January 11, at 7:30 p.m. at theLucille Lortel Theater. The fully staged production, directed/choreographed by Curtis Holbrook, was led by Rebecca Luker as Lily, Gabriella Pizzolo as Mary, and Bradley Dean as Archie with Tom Deckman, Ali Ewoldt, Frances Mercanti-Anthony, Bill Nolte, Eli Tokash, Max von Essen, and Cortney Wolfson. Additionally, composer Lucy Simonand original cast member Daisy Egan co-hosted the night. BroadwayWorld was there for the special event and you can check out interviews with the cast below!

Friends in Theater Company will soon present Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Once on this Island, one-night-only production benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York and Western New York onMonday, January 20, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Lucille Lortel Theater (121 Christopher Street New York, NY 10014). THEATERSPEAK will present an installation of more than 70 award-winning and emerging playwrights writing new plays in the storefront window of the Drama Book Shop during store hours, August 13th - September 1st, In each two-hour time slot, a different playwright will write their play on a laptop, while the screen shot of their computer is visible to the street, opening their process up to the passerby on the street.
