JJ Abrams STAR TREK Sequel Begins Filming

Paramount Pictures has just announced that principal photography is now underway in Los Angeles for the currently untitled JJ Abrams upcoming STAR TREK sequel. The film will be a follow-up to Abram's 2009 Star Trek feature film which chronicled the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members.

On Sunday, December 4, 2011, the Trevor Project presented 'Trevor Live,' a high-profile event to benefit the life-saving work of The Trevor Project. The evening featured moving performances from Hollywood's most talented and entertaining performers, including Mary J. Blige,Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah, LeAnn Rimes, Barrett Foa and the Warblers, Diego Boneta and Julianne Hough, JC Chasez, American Idol contestants Kris Allen and Stefano Langone, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, Jesse Tyler Ferguson,Darren Criss, Step up Dance, and Amber Riley.

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Included in this year's line-up is Price Check, featuring Cheyenne Jackson, Parker Posey, and Annie Parisse.The Festival will be held January 19 through 29 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.
