APS Films has released the first trailer and stills from director Joe Raffa's unsettling thriller Dark Harbor. The continued partnership with Long Beach connects the island festival's experience to the mainland Sept. 25-29, 2019, bookending CFF with 'launch' and 'landing' premieres, parties and panels Wednesday-Thursday and Sunday in Long Beach. The Carney Awards announced a broadcast partnership with PIX11 in New York, the home of The Honeymooners for past 60 years.   The Carney Awards, named for the late, great Oscar and six-time Emmy Award-winning actor Art Carney, star of The Honeymooners, recognize outstanding achievements in character acting and will honor Joe Morton, Jessica Walter, Joe Pantoliano, M. Emmet Walsh, James Cromwell and Bruce Greenwood.  Comedian Patton Oswalt will host the evening's program which will be recorded at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, CA on Sunday, October 28, 2018.   The 2-hour telecast will air on PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting's New York flagship television station, on Saturday, November 24, 2018 (8:00 PM – 10:00 PM). PIX11 will air a special marathon of The Honeymooners leading into The Carney Awards broadcast, starting at 6:00 PM.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jon Bernthal is set to return to THE WALKING DEAD for season 9. The news comes after Andrew Lincoln announced his exit from the AMC series a few weeks back. Thousands of people attended the Garden State Film Festival's much-anticipated homecoming in Asbury Park March 22-25, 2018. The spectacular four-day weekend event welcomed over 26,000 celebrities, honorees, film industry execs and movie fans to multiple iconic venues throughout Asbury Park. The Festival included networking opportunities, industry workshops, informative panel discussions, open talent casting call, live screenplay reading, star-studded red carpet gala and entertaining parties - all in addition to the screenings of 246 films from 22 countries around the world. The weekend culminated with the 2018 Garden State Film Festival Awards Gala Dinner event on Sunday evening, where this year's honorees were recognized and Festival winners were announced.
