A May Sky Picture has announced the workshop production of Schuyler Iona Press' WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN, choreography by Joel Hanna, music arranged by Jeb Patton, co-directed by Darren Press, written and directed by C. Fraser Press. WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's 13th Street Rep (50 West 13th Street, NYC). Performances begin tonight, May 15 and continue through Saturday, June 15. Opening Night is Wednesday, May 29 (7 p.m.).

Recorded live at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., this concert honors the music and the man, with performances of 'This Land Is Your Land,' 'This Train Is Bound for Glory,' and many other Guthrie greats. Produced and directed by four-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Jim Brown, the centennial concert was produced in collaboration with The GRAMMY Museum Foundation, Woody Guthrie Publications, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Category 7 in association with La Salle Academy and Nativity Mission announces the cast and creative team for Stand-Up Tragedy, Bill Cain's searing 1991 play about a Lower East Side middle school, where an idealistic young teacher sets out to save one of his students from an abusive family and the streets. Directed by Nicholas Minas, performances begin at Nativity Church (44 2nd Avenue - between 2nd & 3rd Streets) tonight, April 12, 2013 and will continue through May 4.

Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute (WMI) concludes its 2012-2013 season with outstanding live performances in community venues throughout the five boroughs of New York City with its free Neighborhood Concerts. For almost four decades, the Carnegie Hall Neighborhood Concerts have featured free performances by top artists across multiple genres of music, including classical, jazz, and world music. In addition, WMI presents a number of free family-friendly programs throughout New York City as part of McGraw-Hill Carnegie Kids.
