Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED, grossed $1,986,319 in a single week this past Fall at Toronto's Canon Theatre making it the highest-grossing musical in Canadian theatre history.

Beginning performances on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, TEAL WICKS will assume the role of Elphaba in the Broadway company of WICKED. Ms. Wicks is making her Broadway debut after playing the role of Elphaba in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles productions of WICKED. Additionally, Next to Normal's KYLE DEAN MASSEY will return to the Broadway company of WICKED in the role of Fiyero on Tuesday, January 25.

For the week ending November 28th, the musical grossed $1,986,319 making it the highest-grossing week for a touring Broadway show in Canadian history. Over its sold-out, 6-week engagement, WICKED took in $11,459,475, grossing over $1,900,000 in 3 of those weeks.
