Due to popular demand, The Fox Theatre has announced a second showing of Gone With The Wind on Saturday, July 26 at 7 PM. Gone With The Wind, celebrating its 75th Anniversary, is part of the 2014 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival, sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company and Delta Airlines. Seating is reserved for both the Saturday 7 PM and Sunday 2 PM movies and tickets are $10, $15 and $20, plus any processing fees at point of sale. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, June 27 at 10 AM, and are available at the Fox Theatre Ticket Office, online at www.foxtheatre.org or by calling 855-285-8499. Special $5 parking will be offered in select Lanier lots around the Fox Theatre, while spaces are available. (more...)

The Fox Theatre announced today the official movie lineup for the 2014 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival, sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company and Delta Airlines. The 2014 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival will take audiences down memory lane beginning this June with nine movies celebrating anniversaries: Gone With The Wind, The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins Sing-A-Long, The Women, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, Double Indemnity and Field of Dreams, which was selected through the Fox Theatre's Facebook fan vote. Additional audience favorites that will be shown on the Fox Theatre's 26-foot high x 56-foot-8-inch wide big screen include the 1933 version of King Kong, Mamma Mia!, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Philadelphia Story, and Saturday Morning Cartoons will introduce children to the classics like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd that their parents grew up watching and still know and love. Audiences will also enjoy a special treat with the double-feature of Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles for one price. (more...)

'Tonight I knew I had to take a couple of risks,' said Roberts following his win. 'I didn't ride the pig jump very well but 'Bill' saved my butt! I was really working to get a clear round tonight because that last rail we had down last night cost us the lead coming into today. I had to change my plan a bit and I still didn't have quite as much turning power as I would have liked, but the horse has come so far in a short period of time so I'm very pleased.' (more...)

Transformed through a $67 million project, the Museum will open to the public on January 15, 2011, having doubled in size (from 50,000 to 97,700 square feet) and been given striking new physical expression by architect Thomas Leeser.
