Whitney Cummings returns to her one true love, stand-up, when her new special, "Whitney Cummings: I Love You," premieres on Comedy Central on Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Comedienne Whitney Cummings (left) visited Las Vegas on Thursday. She was at a press conference at the Venetian Resort and Casino to announce Lipshtick - The Perfect Shade of Standup, a new resident series of performances by female comediennes.

The Venetian Las Vegas has announced LIPSHTICK - THE PERFECT SHADE OF STAND UP, a newly branded resident comedy series that marks the first time in the storied entertainment history of Las Vegas that the comedy stage will be taken exclusively by female performers. The new series will debut July 11 with appearances by daytime television personality Wendy Williams and will bring regular stand-up comedy performances to The Sands Showroom from an opening slate of 14 critically acclaimed comediennes.

The 32nd edition of the Just For Laughs Festival, presented by Videotron in association with Loto-Quebec, promises to be the most star-studded lineup ever with a living legend, TV and cinema's biggest comedy names, top touring comedians, cult-favourites and up-and-comers all converging on Montreal this summer.

This one-night-only event features the cast of the new NBC show Undateable, including comedians Chris D'Elia, Brent Morin, Ron Funches and Rick Glassman and is hosted by the show's co-creator and executive producer Bill Lawrence. Each comedian performs his own set, giving you a taste of the humor you can expect when Undateble premieres this spring. Cummings co-created and co-wrote, along with Michael Patrick King, the CBS comedy 2 Broke Girls, which returned last Fall for a 3rd season. She also wrote, produced and starred in her autobiographical sitcom Whitney, which aired on NBC for two seasons. Cummings appears regularly on E!'s Chelsea Lately, has appeared on several Comedy Central's Roasts and recently made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She's been named a 'Rising Star of Comedy' by Entertainment Weekly and has appeared in Variety's 'Top 10 Comics to Watch' list.

The Friars Club today announced that Peabody Award-winning radio, television and internet show host Larry King has been appointed as the new Dean of the Friars Club, taking over for Freddie Roman. As Dean, which is also known as the President of the club, King will work closely with the Friars Club's Abbot Jerry Lewis, overseeing the Board of Governors on all matters surrounding the “Monastery,” including participating in the famous Roasts and dinners, as well as other events happening in and around the Club, for the next two years. The appointment will be made official at a special ceremony at the Friars Club.
