Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young, who is best known for his Tony-winning portrayal of "Frankie Valli" in the original Broadway JERSEY BOYS and for his performance in the 2014 film, returned for a sold out cabaret concert My Turn at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal in North Hollywood on September 15, 2015. 

2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, Ricky Byrd will bring his Clean Getaway All Stars to the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre tonight, September 19 at 8 pm. This concert will benefit The McCall Foundation of Torrington, a local drug and alcohol treatment center.

Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Executive Director) will present Squeaky Bicycle Productions' World Premiere of Dylan Lamb's dark comedy Ten Ways on a Gun, directed by Kathryn McConnell (Pop Dies in Vegas) October 9-25 at the Community Space Theater at Theater for the New City (155 1st Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets). BoHo Theatre closes out its groundbreaking 11th season with the musical Dogfight by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Peter Duchan, directed by BoHo Artistic Director Peter Marston Sullivan. Based on the 1991 Warner Brothers film, Dogfight explores the power of compassion in the face of cruelty and malice. The play features a rousing score and an emotional heart that shows musical theatre at its finest.

 THE BLACK BOX, downtown Franklin's new theater, music, and event venue, kicks off its 2015-2016 season with the highly anticipated reunion concert of Boston's popular R&B band, Soul Kitchen. The show, and venue's first dance party, begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11. THE BLACK BOX, the home of the Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC), is located at 15 West Central Street. 

As a tribute to the 1952 screen version of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, international touring production leading man Duane Alexander (in the childlike water-frolicking frenzy of Don Lockwood) has been captivating Manila audiences in Lunchbox Theatrical Productions' latest smash offering at Solaire's The Theatre. SINGIN' IN THE RAIN kicked off its limited run in the Philippines, which began gala night, August 20, until recently confirmed extension, September 13, which will have the 27-strong cast soaking wet (totaling 26 shows).

Singin' in the Rain is coming to the PACE Center Mainstage from September 25th through October 11th. This timeless classic is a show for the ages, and co-producers Parker Arts and Inspire Creative have kept the idea of time at the core of their production.

DOGFIGHT, the Justin Paul & Benj Pasek musical that tells a tender but brutal story of young people meeting in a situation that is destined for heartbreak, began at The Keegan Theatre on August 22, opens tonight, August 25, and runs through September 19, 2015. Christina A. Coakley & Michael Innocenti direct the production, with a libretto by Peter Duchan, musical direction by Jake Null and choreography by Kurt Boehm. Claudia Feldstein will direct a developmental reading of Richard Vetere's new play THE WALL on Sunday, August 23  at 3PM in Midtown Manhattan.

 On Monday, September 28, 2015, Broadway stars Stephanie J. Block and Aaron Lazar will perform in "A Cabaret Evening" at 54 Below, located at 254 West 54th Street. The evening is a joint benefit in support of The New York Pops PopsEd Programs and Ronald McDonald House® New York. The two organizations partner to provide music education programs that serve as creative outlets for the children and families in residence. Hosted by Steven Reineke, Music Director of The New York Pops, the benefit will start with a champagne reception at 5:30PM followed by dinner and performance at 6:30PM.

Executive producer Tim Dietlein and the Glendale Centre Theatre continue their exciting 68th season with the Broadway classic, GUYS AND DOLLS. Performances are August 28th - October 10th.
