MGM Television and Ring announced that Emmy-winning comedian and actress Wanda Sykes (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Crank Yankers, The Upshaws) has signed on to host Ring Nation, a new twist on the popular clip show genre. Ring Nation is a half-hour, studio-based series that gives audiences a daily dose of life’s viral videos.

Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated standup comedian, actress, writer, producer and director, Amy Schumer returns to the road for the first time in four years and makes a tour stop at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 8pm, part of the Barts Tree Service Comedy Series.

 Emmy-winning standup comedian AMY SCHUMER announced additional dates to her upcoming tour including a stop in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 5P.

NewFest, New York’s leading LGBTQ+ film and media organization and one of the world's most respected LGBTQ+ film festivals, has announced the full lineup for its second annual NewFest Pride event - a summer film series returning this year from June 2-6 in a hybrid format featuring a mix of exclusive in-person premieres/panels and virtual screenings. The announcement was made today by NewFest’s Executive Director David Hatkoff and Director of Programming Nick McCarthy.

MPAC presents a wide range of events in June, featuring the long awaited return of MPAC's Spring musical, the touring production of Fiddler on the Roof, popular rockers like Melissa Etheridge and The Mavericks and kids favorite Blippi. 

Cristela Alonzo is back for her second Netflix Comedy special with Middle Classy. It is set to premiere globally on Netflix on June 28th. The special is produced by Page Hurwitz and Wanda Sykes for Push It Productions. Hurwitz also directs. 

Wanda Sykes is an Emmy winning stand up comic, writer, actress and producer who has been entertaining audiences for over twenty years. She has ranked among Entertainment Weekly's “25 Funniest People in America” and her peers have called her “one of the funniest stand-up comics” in the field. She will be returning to DPAC on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

With less than four weeks until the festival begins, Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival has added new shows to its lineup, including top stand-up performances, Netflix series cast events as well as a free outdoor fan experience. The festival, which now boasts over 250 live shows across over 30 venues covering Los Angeles, is produced by Netflix in association with Live Nation.

Hosted by Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer, the 94th Oscars were held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and were televised live on ABC.
