For the eighth installment of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's ongoing series, Conversations With Coco -- Miss Coco Peru's series of live, unscripted interviews with celebrated performing artists -- the L.A. drag legend welcomed the legendary, entertainer Liza Minnelli to the Center's Renberg Theatre. Like her previous get-togethers with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin Miss Coco prepared a multi-media presentation featuring highlights of Ms. Minnelli's storied career and a casual yet in-depth conversation.

Funktapuss is a five-piece groove factory that churns out smooth, sweaty New England style funk. Popping bass lines and hot guitar drive the bopping rhythm section, the backdrop to the band's smooth, sexy vocals. On Saturday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m., Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actress and recording artist Kristin Chenoweth returns to Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with an all-new program entitled The Evolution of a Soprano. Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and featuring pianist and music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell, this newly created, one-night-only engagement showcases Ms. Chenoweth performing a varied evening of music that highlights her incredible range-from works influenced by her early operatic and classical training in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to hit songs from her starring roles on Broadway and in film. In addition to popular hits and classical selections, Ms. Chenoweth will perform new works, standards, and even works popularized by amateur soprano Florence Foster Jenkins. This performance marks Ms. Chenoweth's first solo appearance at Carnegie Hall since her sold-out show in September 2004.

IMAX Corporation and The Walt Disney Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company today announced an agreement to release several of Disney's upcoming films in IMAX® theatres under an extension of the companies' long-running relationship.

Nine-time Grammy Award winning artist John Legend has announced dates for his 2014 North American tour titled 'An Evening with John Legend: The All of Me Tour.' The tour which begins tonight, March 20th in Temecula, CA and goes through early June will feature John in an intimate and acoustic setting, highlighted by guitar/vocal accompaniment as well as a string quartet. Other stops on the tour will include a night at the prestigious Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA on March 26th as well the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, NY on May 31st.

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, together with Florida Theatrical Association and Broadway Across America, has unveiled the lineup of shows for the Center's inaugural 2014-2015 Broadway season. To celebrate the historic season, Dr. Phillips Center FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando is bringing world-class theater to a world-class stage, headlined by the spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Pianist Evgeny Kissin, who gave the first recital at Walt Disney Concert Hall in October 2003, returns Monday, March 24, at 8 pm, with a program of works by Schubert and Scriabin. The performance begins with Schubert's Sonata in D major, D. 850, then continues with music by Scriabin - Sonata No. 2 in G-sharp minor, Op. 19 and selections from his Twelve Etudes, Op. 8. The performance is part of the LA Phil's 2013/14 Colburn Celebrity Recitals series.

The Actors Fund's annual gala on Monday, April 28, 2014 honoring Disney Theatrical Productions will feature a one-night-only benefit performance including surprise appearances and production numbers from Disney's award-winning musicals.

East West Players (EWP), the nation's premier Asian American theatre, celebrates the achievements of individuals who have raised the visibility of the Asian Pacific American (APA) community through their craft at the 48th Anniversary Visionary Awards Dinner & Silent Auction. The fundraising event will take place on Monday April 28, 2014 at the Universal Hilton. Proceeds from the gala will benefit East West Players' educational and artistic programs.
