Garfunkel & Oates will film their first hour-long special on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 7:30 PM and 10 PM at The Neptune. 

Playwrights Horizons and Center Theatre Group present The Christians, the New York premiere of a new play by Lucas Hnath (A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney, Isaac's Eye, Death Tax). Directed by Obie Award winner Les Waters (Doris to Darlene at PH; the recent 10 Out of 12; In the Next Room, or the vibrator play; Big Love; eurydice), the play is the opening production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season.

RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music, will play the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for a limited engagement from November 10 through November 15, 2015 as part of the 2015-2016 FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando Season presented in partnership with Florida Theatrical Association.

Beginning tonight, August 27, Weston Playhouse Theatre Company presents Tennessee Williams' timeless masterpiece, The Glass Menagerie. Los Angeles continues to be a hotbed of new musicals. After a dizzying number of new musicals appeared in the recent Hollywood Fringe Festival, soon the 18th annual Stages Musical Theatre Festival will be returning to Los Angeles this August. This prestigious festival features new musicals, which have been developed across the country, presented in concert readings. This year's festival features six musicals, presented in two venues over two weekends: This weekend, August 21-23 at New Musicals Inc., 5628 Vineland in North Hollywood and August 28-30 at 3D Theatricals, 1255 N.
