Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy to Stage SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES

Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy will stage Ray Bradbury's creepy classic, Something Wicked This Way Comes, August 17-19 at 7 pm and August 20 at 3:00 pm. All four performances will be at Peakes Auditorium at Bangor High School, 885 Broadway, Bangor.

49th NAACP Image Awards to Be Telecast Live MLK Day, January 15

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and TV One, a television network dedicated to the best of black culture and entertainment, today announced that the 49th NAACP Image Awards will be nationally telecast live on TV One on Monday, January 15, 2018, the federal holiday marking the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  The two-hour special will also include a live pre-show from the star-studded red carpet.

OWN Announces New Docu-Series BLACK LOVE

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, will premiere the four episode docu-series, “Black Love,” from filmmakers Codie Elaine Oliver and Tommy Oliver (“The Perfect Guy”) and Confluential Films, on Tuesday, August 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT (after an all new episode of Tyler Perry's “The Haves and the Have Nots” at 9 p.m. ET/PT). The series will air regularly on Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning on September 2.
