River City's about to get the last thing they expected ? and the very thing they need ? in The Music Man. Goodspeed Musicals kicks off its 2019 season with the rip-roarin' dance-filled classic running April 12 - June 20 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn. [Official Press Opening will be May 1, 2019].

The York Theatre Company welcomed specials guests Richard Maltby, Jr., Edward Hibbert, Bill Condon, original cast member and choreographer Dan Siretta, and member from the London John Barry Foundation to a recent performance of the 25th Anniversary Musicals in Mufti presentation of  the NY premiere of Lolita, My Love, with music by John Barry and book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, as edited by Erik Haagensen.  Directed by Emily Maltby and with music direction by Deniz Cordell, the 13-member cast features George Abud (The Band's Visit)as Clare Quilty, Caitlin Cohn (The Secret Garden) as Dolores "Lolita" Haze, Robert Sella (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Humbert Humbert, Thursday Farrar (Aida) as Dr. June Ray, and Jessica Tyler Wright (Sweeney Todd) as Charlotte Haze, with Becca Fox (Singin' in the Rain), Hanako Greensmith (Spring Awakening), Victoria Huston-Elem (Finding Neverland), Jay Aubrey Jones (Assassins), Kennedy Kanagawa (Into the Woods), Max Meyers (Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story), Mark Montague (A Very Brady Musical), and Analise Scarpaci (Matilda, The Musical).

The York Theatre Company concludes its 25th Anniversary of its acclaimed Musicals in Mufti series celebrating the work of the legendary librettist and lyricist Alan Jay Lerner with the third show in the 2019 Winter series the NY premiere of the Lolita, My Love, with music by John Barry and book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, as edited by Erik Haagensen. Christian Duhamel, recipient of the 2018 Kleban Award for most promising musical librettist, presents a concert reading of his latest musical, The Uncivil Ones, as a benefit for Emerging Artists Theatre's New Work Series on October 28 at 7 pm.

Producers R. Erin Craig, Daniel Wallace and Trish Whitehurst just announced the new musical AUSTEN'S PRIDE will receive a staged reading presentation on Friday, October 19 at 1:30pm and Monday, October 22 at 12:00pm. AUSTEN'S PRIDE features a book, music and lyrics by Lindsay Warren Baker and Amanda Jacobs; music supervision by Kevin Stites; music direction and dance arrangements by Greg Jarrett; choreography by Andrew Palermo; and direction by Igor Goldin.

Award-winning songwriter Joel B. New presented an eclectic evening of his songs, Joel B. New Is Trying Too Hard, at The Green Room 42 on Saturday, October 6th. 

Broadway Records recording artist Joel B. New will make his Green Room 42 debut on Saturday, October 6 at 9:30pm with his new show "Joel B. New Is Trying Too Hard."

The American Theatre Wing's Jonathan Larson and MAC's John Wallowitch Award-winning songwriter Joel B. New presents an eclectic evening of his songs at The Green Room 42 on Saturday, October 6th at 9:30pm. Along with a lineup of singers from Broadway and beyond -- including Madge Dietrich (Kinky Boots), CK Edwards (Shuffle Along), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women On The Verge…), Victoria Huston-Elem (Finding Neverland), Travis Kent (Disaster!), Richard Riaz Yoder (Hello, Dolly!), Ben Roseberry (Gentleman's Guide…), Hansel Tan (The Four Immigrants), and Michael Winther (Fun Home) -- New will perform highlights from his diverse collection of projects, many of which appear on his forthcoming sophomore album, sardonically entitled Joel B. New Is Trying Too Hard. The evening features musical direction by Gillian Berkowitz (Avenue Q), with New co-directing alongside Robbie Rozelle (Songs From Inside My Locker).

On Saturday, September 8, Prospect Theatre mounted a concert production of Peter Mills and Cara Reichel's new original musical The Flood. In the summer of 1993, the town of Valmeyer, Illinois was devastated when the levees broke and the Mississippi river overtook the town. The Flood fictionalizes this tale, resetting it in the town of Meyerville where a host of characters bring heart to the moving tale.

Casting has been announced for THE FLOOD, an original musical inspired by the historic 1993 Mississippi River Floods. This one night only special concert presentation will take place at TheTimesCenter (242 West 41st Street) on Saturday, September 8 at 8pm. Produced by the Prospect Theater Company, THE FLOOD kicks off their 2018-2019 season and this IGNITE series concert is presented in partnership with Greymatters Productions. 

The musical Finding Neverland is about holding fast to the child inside of us that believes in magic - and magic really only works when it is paired with heart. The same heart that makes us unashamedly cry out 'I Believe' and claps till Tinker Bell is resuscitated before our very eyes. The fantasy of J.M. Barrie's Neverland awaits you at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in this NETworks Presentations, LLC production of the musical Finding Neverland featuring music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kenned, and a book by James Graham.

FINDING NEVERLAND was born across the river in Cambridge at the American Repertory Theater three years ago, but has settled in for a fortnight in the downtown Boston Theater district. Under the direction of Diane Paulus, with choreography by Mia Michaels, the original design team remains intact, and an all-new cast brings the familiar characters to life. Broadway veterans Billy Harrigan Tighe, Lynnfield native Christine Dwyer, and John Davidson headline the multi-talented ensemble.

Hennepin Theatre Trust will present FINDING NEVERLAND, Broadway.com's Audience Choice Award Winner for Best Musical, as part of the 2017-2018 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin Season Oct. 31-Nov. 5 at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis). Based on the Academy Award-winning Miramax motion picture by David Magee, and the play The Man Who Was Peter Pan by Allan Knee, FINDING NEVERLAND follows the relationship between playwright J.M. Barrie and the family that inspired Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up - one of the most beloved stories of all time.

Omaha Performing Arts is pleased to announce tickets for FINDING NEVERLAND go on sale to the public on Friday July 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM. FINDING NEVERLAND will play Omaha's Orpheum Theater, 409 South 16th Street, Wednesday, October 11 through Sunday, October 15, 2017.
