Bronco Billy is a fun show with some great performers and catchy songs. While a more developed plot would have been appreciated, it is still a show that will have you smiling throughout. If you’re a fan of pantomimes and/or a fan of country music, you’ll definitely be a fan of this!

Recently, we had the chance to chat with Emily Benjamin, who plays New York socialite Antoinette Lily. We discussed what made her want to be a part of the show, her own love for country music and what she hopes audiences take away from the show.

The cult classic Bat Boy: The Musical descends on the London Palladium for a Halloween concert with Jordan Luke Gage (Bonnie and Clyde, Heathers) appearing as fans have never seen him before in the transformational title role. Joining him in the star-studded cast are two-time Olivier Award nominee Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Cinderella, In The Heights), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Hamilton, Next To Normal) and Jodie Steele (Bonnie and Clyde, Heathers).

The National Theatre has announced the full professional cast for The Underworld, the culmination of the NT’s multi-location production of The Odyssey. The production is a joyful celebration of national community marking the fifth anniversary of Public Acts, the NT’s nationwide programme to create extraordinary acts of theatre and community.

Poor Hex. Scuppered by Covid last year before it even got to press night and dogged by rumours of nepotism, this re-working of the fairytale Sleeping Beauty had a lot to overcome. It could have been the festive highlight at the National Theatre, but is compromised by a meandering story and less-than-captivating songs.

The National Theatre's new musical Hex returns to the Olivier theatre for Christmas, after its original 2021 opening was delayed due to covid. The full company performing in this new production is announced before starting rehearsals at the NT on Monday 3 October.
