TBS Orders Second Season of SULLIVAN & SON

TBS has ordered a second season of the popular new sitcom SULLIVAN & SON. Currently airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), the comedy is averaging more than 2.5 million viewers in its first season and ranks as one of the Top 25 new summer series on television. TBS has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to launch in 2013.

Actor/comedian Gary Owen, the new host of the national Shaquille O'Neal "All-Star Comedy Jam," comes to The Joint at Hard Rock in Las Vegas tonight, September 1st, 2012. Joining Gary on the show are comics Capone, Tony Roberts and Michael Blackson, along with DJ Spinderella. Produced by Shaq Entertainment, this is the second year of the 20-city tour which started out in Chicago in June and ends on New Year's Eve in Atlanta.

ANGER MANAGEMENT, the sitcom starring Charlie Sheen and created by Executive Producer Bruce Helford, has received a 90-episode order from FX. The sitcom also features Broadway's Michael Arden as a series regular in the role of 'Patrick'.

Oprah Winfrey has topped Forbes' list of the highest-paid celebrities in 2012. The media mogel earned $165 million between May 2011 and May 2012. While the earnings mark a decline of $125 million from last year, Winfrey continues to hold on to the top spot due to the final season of her long-running talk show, as well as earnings from her magazine, her new network OWN, her spin off shows, including Rachel Ray and Dr. Oz, and a radio deal with Sirius.

Winning the prestigious Woodward/Newman Award for best play, while being developed at Rogue Machine for their 2012 season, brought with it a fully funded production mounted at the Bloomington Play Project in Indiana. It turned out to be one of their most successful projects to date. A Holland New Voices Award came shortly afterwards, and now playwright Henry Murray is ready for its close-up at Rogue Machine, known for staging new works. This will be a West Coast Premiere in one of the country's most vibrant cities for new plays, Los Angeles, opening September 15, 2012.
