BWW Interviews: COME FLY AWAY's 'Sid', Cody Green
by Joseph Harrison - Aug 1, 2011

When Come Fly Away opens on August 2 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre, don't be surprised when you hear the voice of "Ol' Blue Eyes" himself - for this acclaimed show, directed and choreographed by dance legend, Twyla Tharp uses actual master recordings of Frank Sinatra as it's musical score. Performing some of the amazing choreography of the show and dancing to Sinatra classics (and lesser known numbers) is Cody Green, who plays Sid, the cocky nightclub regular who falls in love on one fateful night. I sat down with Cody and talked about his experience with Twyla Tharp, dance shows vs. traditional musicals and the wonderful music of Frank Sinatra.

BWW Reviews: BURN THE FLOOR Scorches the O.C.
by Michael L. Quintos - Jun 3, 2011

Let me just say this right off the bat... BURN THE FLOOR is quite possibly the most entertained I have ever been at a dance-centric stage show. From its electric start to its rousingly gangbusters finalé, the show truly lives up to its scorching name. Direct from its Broadway berth, the tour is now calling the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa its temporary dance home for the next two weeks through June 12.

BWW Reviews: Vegas: The Show!: This One Deserves The Exclamation!
by Ellen Sterling - Jun 2, 2011

Think about it: How many times have you seen the title of a show or movie with an exclamation point on the end? There's Oklahoma! Airplane! ¡Three Amigos! Mamma Mia! Hot Shots! Oliver!....and those are only a few. Some of them actually, depending upon your response, may have deserved the exclamation. Most, however, do not. An exception to this general truism is Vegas! The Show.
