The Battles Musical LLC will present a second developmental reading of the new musical, THE BATTLES, with music, book, and lyrics by Ned Massey, at the New 42nd Street Studios on Friday, October 23rd, at 3 pm. The reading will be directed by Tom Wojtunik with musical direction by Joshua Stephen Kartes, and casting by Michael Cassara, CSA. The musical received its first reading in June as part of the Emerging Artist Theatre's "New Works Series." (more...)

In other exciting news, Bondarin has just been named APAC's new Artistic Director, assuming the role that Tom Wojtunik stepped down from in June. In The Bones will play a limited engagement at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 30-44 Crescent St (@30th Rd), in Astoria, Queens. Performances begin Today, November 6 and continue through Saturday, November 22. Opening Night is Saturday, November 8 (8 p.m.). (more...)
