Manhattan Theatre Club has just announced that Tony and Emmy Award winner Cynthia Nixon will return to MTC to star in the Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play WIT by Margaret Edson, directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow. According to published reports, Tony winner Stephen Dillane has signed on to join the cast of HBO's 'Game of Thrones.' Dillane will play Stannis Baratheon, brother of the recently deceased King of Westeros.

The Lion in Winter will run from 4 November - 28 January, with press night on 15 November 2011. The Lion in Winter is produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company.
