Throughout my life one song's melody and lyrics have played on a continuous loop. I've heard it sung by my wife's Russian family and their friends at parties and family affairs. Last night that song in the hands of Charles Busch at Feinstein's/54 Below was it's most heartfelt and profound interpretation I've ever experienced.

Next week, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond, including Tony nominee Charles Busch, Ann Kittredge, Marya Grandy, Isaac Sutton and So In Love: The World's Greatest Love Songs.

Tony nominee, Drama Desk Lifetime Achievement honoree and two-time MAC Award winner, Charles Busch, is about to return to Feinstein's 54 Below with a new show that gets to the essence of this legendary entertainer. Weaving tales of his Manhattan childhood and adolescence raised by his indomitable Aunt Lillian through the lens of the tumultuous decade of the 1960's, Charles will be singing a great songbook from Broadway to Pop, featuring the work of among others Burt Bacharach, Jimmy Webb, the Beatles, Henry Mancini, Bob Dylan, Stephen Sondheim and Kander and Ebb. Songs include Two for the Road, Anyone Who Had a Heart and The Times They Are A-Changin'.

Playwright/Actor/Director/Novelist/Cabaret Entertainer Charles Busch has been fascinating and entertaining audiences for over three decades. On October 26th, audiences are invited to join EAG for An Evening with Charles Busch.

Palm Beach Dramaworks takes great pride in announcing that Charles Busch, the celebrated playwright, actor, director, cabaret artist, and drag legend, will appear in concert today evening, September 16 at 8pm, at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre. An Evening with Charles Busch marks the kickoff of a new series, OutStage@PBD, which offers special performances and events tailored to the LGBTQ community.

TERRIFIC NEW THEATRE presents Charles Busch: That Boy, That Girl for one night only on September 23, 2017. This is the first time this theatrical delight will play his solo show in Alabama.

Primary Stages' 2017 Spring Fling celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Einhorn School of Performing Arts this week with an event which honored Broadway composer Jeanine Tesori with the Einhorn Mentorship Award. Additional honorees from the ESPA community were also celebrated at the event, including Tanya Barfield, Jimmy Carbone, and Cusi Cram.

Tom Judson, lately best known as musical director and accompanist to the legendary Charles Busch, will present Mostly From the Movies, a rare solo evening of cabaret at Pangea on Monday evening, May 8 at 7 PM.

Just as death knells and obituaries are beginning to appear in the press for cabaret in Los Angeles (usually by inexperienced journalists in their 20s who seem to think that entertainment is restricted to their computers, IPads and IPhones), proof to the contrary arrives in the form of one Charles Busch in "THAT GIRL/ THAT BOY" at Rockwell stage and table on March 13th and 14th . Making his Segerstrom Center for the Arts debut, Tony Award® nominee Charles Busch is bringing his unique and critically-acclaimed talents to the Samueli Theater March 9-11, 2017 as part of Segerstrom Center's Cabaret Series. Entitled THE LADY AT THE MIC, Busch will enchant audiences in this intimate evening of songs and stories which he originally created for Lincoln Center's American Songbook series.
