Sail off on a fantastic musical excursion when a band of comical pirates lands at North Beach looking for an expert digger to join their crew in How I Became a Pirate, based on the children's book by Melinda Long. The Second Company at the Peterborough Players performs this singing, dancing, swashbuckling musical starting on June 22nd, and running until July 20th.

The Peterborough Players opens their 3rd Annual Winter season opens with It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, adapted by Joe Landry, playing December 6-16.

With a library copy of 'SEX FOR DUMMIES' in hand, Alice attempts to re-kindle her decades long marriage to Henry. Over the course of a weekend in a luxury hotel, the couple stumbles over the hilarious and humbling truths of their 'long-running' marriage. This adult comedy is for any adult who has ever been married to another adult for a significant amount of time. A hit in Canada, we are thrilled to present the New Hampshire premiere of this comedy!

The Players fifth and sixth shows of the summer offer something for everyone, with George Bernard Shaw's The Man of Destiny playing August 15-26 and a musical adaptation of Pippi Longstocking playing August 18-25.

Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping number after another.  

The Players are ringing in the New Year with news that they have been recognized for their work during the 2017 Summer Season with 19 finalist nominations for the New Hampshire Theatre Awards! Of their 7 Main Stage productions this past Summer Season, 2 plays were eligible for consideration: The Producers and The Doctor's Dilemma - the 19 finalist nominations are from those 2 productions in a variety of categories.

The classic holiday tale told from a new perspective the Peterborough Players present JACOB MARLEY'S CHRISTMAS CAROL. Follow Jacob Marley to the afterlife and back again in his attempt to redeem his former business partner. A story of renewal, sacrifice and ultimately the bonds that tie us all together. Following a successful inaugural winter season, the Peterborough Players are offering a line-up of plays that will illuminate the festive spirit of the winter season. First is a classic holiday tale told from a new perspective, followed in February by a touching look at all the things worth holding onto in life, and closing out the season with the New Hampshire Premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire's new comedy.

A playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off.
