Great show for a great cause! "Tales From Hollywood" is a journey through the back stages of Hollywood. Ask questions about your favorite stars and find out what it's like on the sets of your favorite shows through the eyes of Hollywood Writer/Actor/ Warm up comic Bob Perlow. Mr. Perlow is a 35-year veteran of the Hollwyood scene , having warmed up audiences for Laverne and Shirley, Taxi, Cheers and many more. Bob also worked fifteen years on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno encountering stars Tom Cruise, Whoopi Goldberg, Garth Brooks, and Steve Carrell.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary of saluting the greatest talents in world cinema, The Chicago International Film Festival will honor Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Kline with a Career Achievement Award on Saturday, June 28 at the Four Seasons Hotel, 120 E. Delaware, at a special Summer Gala celebration.

The Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Hair, the American Tribal Love-Rock musical, which won the Tony and Drama Desk Award for best revival of a musical in 2009, will star Kristen Bell as Sheila, Hunter Parrish as Claude, Amber Riley as Dionne, Jenna Ushkowitz as Jeanie and Beverly D'Angelo as Mom. Adam Shankman will direct and choreograph. Hair will be conducted by Lon Hoyt. Zach Woodlee will serve as associate director and associate choreographer. Additional casting is to be announced.

Garden Grove's leading source for Shakespeare is back this summer, starting off its 2014 season with William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, June 21-July 19 in The Festival Amphitheater. Directed by Susan Angelo, A Midsummer Night's Dream follows fools and faeries through a romantic romp in which a magical potion forces lovers to fall in love with the wrong person. Set in beautiful Polynesia during the 1700s, SOC's rendition of the popular Shakespearian comedy includes the appearance of Garden Grove's Award-Winning Polynesian Dance Group, Hitia O Te Ra.
