Television icon Regis Philbin, Muppets creator Jim Henson, the extraordinary actresses who vocally brought to life many modern-day Disney Princesses including Jodi Benson (Ariel from The Little Mermaid), Paige O'Hara (Belle from Beauty and the Beast), Lea Salonga (singing voices of Jasmine from Aladdin and Mulan from Mulan), Linda Larkin (speaking voice of Jasmine from Aladdin), and Anika Noni Rose (Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog) plus other equally impressive contributors to the Disney legacy will be named and honored as official Disney Legends during the D23 EXPO at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19, in the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.

The latest celebrity to join the upcoming season of 'Dancing With The Stars' is former 'Hills' and 'Laguna Beach' star Kristin Cavallari according to reports. She'll join the previously announced Chynna Phillips, Snooki, Tiffani Thiessen and Rob Kardashian.

The spectacular celebrity cast for the new season of 'Dancing with the Stars' will be announced live on ABC, MONDAY, AUGUST 29, during that evening's episode of 'Bachelor Pad.' Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke once again host the live unveiling of the all-star cast.

The nominations were released this morning for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mad Men topped the list with 19 nominations, followed by Boardwalk Empire with 18, Modern Family with 17, Saturday Night Live with 16, Game of Thrones and 30 Rock with 13 and GLEE with 12. The tour celebrates the top-rated animated series and kicks off the countdown to the Disney Channel Original Movie, 'Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension,' premiering FRIDAY, AUGUST 5 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and SATURDAY, AUGUST 13 (10:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD.

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), a new offshoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, today announced nominations for the inaugural Critics' Choice Television Awards, hosted by Cat Deeley and scheduled to take place at a luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on June 20, 2011. ABC was the most nominated broadcast network with 16 nominations, followed closely by NBC with 12. AMC and FX led nominations for cable networks, with nine each. Modern Family was the most nominated series with six.

Constantine Maroulis and Rebecca Faulkenberry took ROCK OF AGES to DANCING WITH THE STARS tonight. Hosted by Tom Bergeron ('America's Funniest Home Videos') and Brooke Burke ('Dancing with the Stars' Season Seven Champion), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

HANSON perform their new song, 'Give a Little,' during the one-hour special, 'Dancing with the Stars: The Road to the Finals,' TUESDAY, APRIL 26 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). Within the live hour, the remaining couples will look ahead, through live interviews and video, to what it will take for each of them to reach the finals. Past 'DWTS' celebrities and the judges will also provide their commentary on each couple.

After the great Pia Toscano debacle of 2011, last week's elimination of Paul McDonald was refreshing to say the least. Though I can't deny that I already miss his uncomfortably white teeth and the kooky way he pranced around the Idol stage, it was his time to go.
