LA Opera President and CEO Christopher Koelsch has announced details for the company's 39th season. Music Director James Conlon will conduct three of the five mainstage productions, with other mainstage performances led by Resident Conductor Lina González-Granados and by guest conductor Domingo Hindoyan.

Matthew Wolfenden will return to the stage by starring as Buddy in the smash-hit musical adaptation of ELF at London's Dominion Theatre for a strictly limited season from 15 November 2023 until 6 January 2024. James Conlon led approximately 75 musicians as they embarked on another excursion into the dark world of sixteenth century Spain and the Inquisition. Verdi's DON CARLO tells a fascinating tale that is not quite historically accurate but makes good drama.
