SWEENEY TODD airs on PBS stations on Friday, September 26, 2014, 9:00-11:30 p.m. ET. Audra McDonald serves as host. The acclaimed, sold-out production stars Terfel in the title role and Academy Award-winning actress Emma Thompson as Mrs. Lovett in her Philharmonic debut, New York stage debut, and first time performing the role. Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is a one-of-a-kind celebration of chilling, family friendly fun. From Friday, Sept. 12, through Friday, Oct. 31, guests will explore their spooky Disney Side with special Halloween transformations of Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain; encounter Disney villains conjured by a magic cauldron; dance to the Mad T Party band and meet Mickey Mouse and his friends in Halloween costumes.

Palo Alto Players opens its 84th season with the West Coast premiere of the colorful and stirring musical, Big Fish (based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the Columbia Motion Picture written by John August). With music & lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by John August, this tender tribute to family and the magic of storytelling is a feast for the eyes, as well as the heart. Absolutely Filthy, the winner of 3 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Awards (Overall Play, Actor and Audience Favorite) will join the 10th Annual FringeNYC Encore Series. This unauthorized parody of the classic cartoon Peanuts which envisions what the beloved characters might be like in their 30's will run October 1-5 at SoHo Playhouse.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced additional casting for The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor as 'Henry,' Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'Annie,' Cynthia Nixon as 'Charlotte' and Josh Hamilton as 'Max.' Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet). This is a limited engagement. The cast also includes Alex Breaux as 'Brodie' and Madeline Weinstein as 'Debbie.' Final casting to be announced.

Jessica Lange was the recipient of the 2014 Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Lead Actress In A Miniseries Or A Movie' for her role on FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN. This marks Lange's third Emmy win, the first for HBO's GREY GARDENS, and also for 'AHS.'
