The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) announced today that special $75 show-only general admission tickets have also been made available for purchase for the Eighth Annual Season Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, November 6th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street).

According to Deadline.com, a remake of the 1989 movie 'Steel Magnolias' which was based on the 1987 play, is currently in the works. Lifetime is currently working with Broadway director Kenny Leon and producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron to recreate the classic film with an all-black cast.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) announced today that producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, will be honored for their work in bringing musical theatre to a worldwide, pop-culture audience at the Eighth Annual Season Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, November 6th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street) beginning at 6:00pm. Neil and Craig are currently represented on Broadway with How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying are currently producing the new NBC television drama 'SMASH' about the behind-the-scenes creation of a Broadway musical. 'SMASH' premieres on NBC on February 6th.

According to Deadline.com, Jennifer Hudson is the latest star to join previously announced Larry David, Jane Lynch, Will Sasso, and Sean Hayes in the upcoming big screen adaptation of The Three Stooges. Collins will play Sister Rosemary.

Today, Sofia Vergara joins a new modern family: she just signed her first beauty contract with COVERGIRL and announced it herself on Twitter and Facebook live from the set. The Emmy nominated actress and mother is currently shooting her first advertising campaign for the cosmetics giant. GLEE star Jane Lynch is on board for the upcoming 'Three Stooges' film. She joins the previously reported Will Sasso as Curly, and Sean Hayes as Larry.

'The Three Stooges' was a hugely successful franchise of shorts, television episodes, and feature-length films beginning in the 1930s with lasting success even through today. The stooges originally consisted of Moe Howard, his brother Shemp (and later Curly), and Larry Fine.

According to Deadline.com, Will Sasso has been cast as Curly in the upcoming film based on the world-famous slapstick TV series 'The Three Stooges.' Although casting is expected to officially be completed by the end of the week, Hank Azaria is a main contender to play Moe; James Marsden is being considered to play Larry.

There are really only good humane thoughts. Remember: they are part clown trained to make people smile and maybe, even think a bit. But happily just a little, as entertainment is the top priority. Through February 20 the Ricardo Montalban stage serves as home to this Canadian based group, ingeniously guided by not one but two directors Shana Carroll and Gypsy Snider.

Executive Artistic Director Carson Kievman has announced that SoBe Institute of the Arts (SoBe Arts) will present staged readings of promising new plays, beginning with Acapulco by New York writer Jacquelyn Reingold (HBO's In Treatment, Law and Order, and produced off-Broadway) and featuring L.A.-based Evan Handler ('Sex and the City,' 'Californication,' and films by Ron Howard and Oliver Stone) in addition to local artists.
