Original Web Series FUNNY MARRIED STUFF To Premiere Season 2 on June 5th

Perrine Productions, announced that season 2 of the anticipated original comedic web series, FUNNY MARRIED STUFF, is set to debut June 5, 2018. The upcoming season of this comedy will feature eight short form episodes uploaded weekly on Facebook (www.facebook.com/FunnyMarriedStuff ).

Award-winning vocalist Leslie Odom, Jr. releases a new ballad "What Are We Waiting For" (S-Curve Records/BMG) featuring his wife, and actress, Nicolette Robinson. Of the collaboration Odom, Jr. says "Nic and I have sung this song in concert together for years--most recently for the filming of my Live From Lincoln Center show for PBS. We love the tune and we love singing it together. The song means a lot to us."

On the Season Four premiere, Lucious makes his first public appearance after the explosion in Las Vegas, while all members of the Lyon family have their own interests in Lucious regaining his physical and mental faculties. Academy Award- and Golden Globe-winning actor, director and producer Forest Whitaker (“The Last King of Scotland,” “Arrival,” “Lee Daniels' The Butler”) will guest-star in a multi-episode arc on EMPIRE, beginning this fall on FOX. Whitaker will play “Uncle Eddie,” a charismatic music icon and bonafide hitmaker, who gave an unknown Lucious (Terrence Howard) his first radio airplay. Decades later, Eddie steps up for Lucious at a critical moment during his rehabilitation, and a grateful Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) invites him to produce a song in celebration of Empire Entertainment's 20th anniversary.

John Doyle Will Helm World Premiere of AUGUST RUSH at Washington DC's Signature Theatre

Signature Theatre has announced the world premiere production of the new musical August Rush. The musical, adapted from the Oscar and GRAMMY Award-nominated film, features music and lyrics by Mark Mancina, book and lyrics by Glen Berger, and orchestrations and additional music by David Metzger. This premiere production will be directed by John Doyle. August Rush will run from February 5, 2019 - March 3, 2019 in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre. The production will then transfer to Paramount Theatre in Aurora, Illinois and will run from April 24, 2019 - June 2, 2019.
